Program Sites

SUCCESS Alliance Vietnam is working in four provinces of southern Vietnam. Two provinces, Ben Tre and Tien Giang, are in the Mekong Delta. The cocoa-growing area in these provinces has been an ideal intercropping area for cocoa, containing stands of coconut, longan, durian and other fruit trees.

The two other project areas are in Ba Ria Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc provinces in Vietnam’s southeastern economic region. These areas have existing perennial crops of pepper, coffee and cashew with which farmers will be able to intercrop their cocoa.
